Earlier this month, our school was delighted to welcome the Dr Dolittle Theatre production for our pupils! The performance took us back to 19th-century England, where we followed Dr Dolittle and his animal friends on their adventures. As exam season approaches, we know this can be an important and sometimes challenging time for pupils. Fountain Head House School works closely with every pupil to make sure they feel prepared and supported. We place a strong focus on wellbeing. Exams can feel overwhelming, so we create a calm and supportive environment with clear routines and encouragement throughout. Recently, Neptune and Earth Class enjoyed an exciting and memorable visit to The Box as part of our WW2 learning in Humanities. The Box has lots of interesting exhibits about Plymouth’s history, including old photographs, natural history, an art gallery, archaeology, and other collections. We had a brilliant interactive visit from the RNLI this month as part of our Careers in March programme. It was a great opportunity for our pupils to learn more about an organisation that plays such an important role in our community. The RNLI leaders carried out demonstrations and the pupils had a fabulous time following their lead by simulating swimming and the correct way to signal for help.
