Sgf Silver Award Winner

Congratulations to Fountain Head House School on achieving the #TeamSGF SAFE SILVER Award!

At Fountain Head House, safeguarding isn’t a policy on a shelf – it’s a living, breathing part of school life. Under the leadership of Dan Turner, Designated Safeguarding Lead, the school has created a deeply embedded safeguarding culture that is both proactive and inclusive.

Dan leads with creativity and compassion – from coffee mornings and video content to newsletters and one-to-one chats, he makes safeguarding conversations accessible to every parent, in whatever form works best for them.

Just as importantly, the team prioritises hearing the child’s voice, ensuring that every young person feels seen, heard and safe. Safeguarding here is a shared responsibility – embraced by the whole staff team, championed by leaders, and rooted in trust and communication.

This is what a safeguarding-first school looks like.

Well done to Dan, Thereza, Kate, Sue and the whole Fountain Head House School team!

Staying Safe Online

With the increased access children have to devices that can connect to the internet, it has never been more important to understand how to be safe when using online content.

Whether children are accessing images, online games, social media platforms or just surfing the web, as part of their homework, they need to remain safe.

At Fountain Head House School we take Online Safety seriously and wanted to share some useful information with parents/carers/guardians and children to help raise awareness of this important subject area.

Online Safety

We use robust filtering and monitoring systems to protect pupils online. Our curriculum includes digital literacy and online safety education, helping children navigate the digital world safely.
