For the third year running, we are delighted to return to the Market Hall Dome to mark Autism Appreciation Week. This year’s theme ‘Looking at Us in Our Community’ has given our pupils a chance to represent themselves in their local community and to express this through creative collaboration.
Working closely with Gary at the Dome, children from across the school have come together to produce a short film that celebrates who they are and how they see themselves within their community. From acting and filming, to creating artwork and composing music, every pupil has played a part played a part in making the film.
A huge thank you goes out to all the pupils involved. You have been absolutely fantastic. And, of course, to Gary and the team for their ongoing support and enthusiasm.
This project is now an embedded part of our curriculum, and we are already looking forward to next year, which promises to be even bigger and better as we continue to grow.
