Careers Day at FHHS

Fountain Head House School recently welcomed Helen Devlin from Careers Plymouth, our dedicated independent careers advisor. Helen spent time with pupils from years 8, 9, 10 and 11 to offer guidance and support as they begin thinking about their futures.

For our year 8 pupils, it was an opportunity to start thinking about their hopes and dreams for the future. Discussions focused on the types of roles they might enjoy and how their current interests could shape their career choices.

For our year 9 and 10 pupils this was a chance to confirm or to redirect their pathway to the world of work or further education in a one-to-one session with Helen and their teachers. Our year 11 pupils are well on their way to formalising their qualifications and to prepare for their next steps.
