Pupils from Fountain Head House School Enjoy a Fantastic Day at Mount Edgcumbe

The pupils from Fountain Head House School, based in Saltash, recently enjoyed a fantastic day at Mount Edgcumbe. The weather was ideal for a coastal explore and potter around the beautiful gardens.

Teacher, Joanne Nickson, said: “The addition of two metal detectors was a nice bonus with some interesting finds. Of course, our objectives for the trip were: to identify key elements that characterise beach environments for a beach-themed art piece, and to collaborate and share gathered resources with peers, developing idea exchanges within the classroom - which was successfully achieved”.

It was wonderful to see so much enthusiasm, creativity, and teamwork throughout the day. We are looking forward to seeing how they use their ideas and experiences to inspire their beach-themed artwork back in the classroom.
