Recently, Neptune and Earth Class enjoyed an exciting and memorable visit to The Box as part of our WW2 learning in Humanities.
The Box has lots of interesting exhibits about Plymouth’s history, including old photographs, natural history, an art gallery, archaeology, and other collections. The pupils enjoyed exploring the museum and learning more about what life was like during the war.
Everyone took part in an artefact handling session, where they explored and learned about WW2. The session encouraged lots of curiosity, and the pupils asked lots of questions and showed off their learning and knowledge well.
In the afternoon, the children explored other parts of the museum, discovering a variety of interesting exhibitions and displays.
